Our Capabilities
Our Screw Machine department runs quantities ranging from 20,000 to 4,000,000. Our Gildemeister Multi-Spindles were quite an investment, but they are doing fast, quality work like no other screw machines we’ve seen! Their auto-bar feed spindles can handle up to 20 mm (.787) round bar while pick-off and back-finish completes the job. We developed proprietary processes to machine a metal to metal check valve for use in a water application where bypass is not acceptable. We also designed and built a tool life monitoring system at Cutting Edge to maximize tooling yield while also monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in order to give our clients the best price with the most consistent parts.
